WAMP - Apache/MySQL/PHP on Windows

WAMPSERVER is a Windows web development environment. It allows you to create web applications with Apache2, PHP and a MySQL database. Alongside, PhpMyAdmin allows you to manage easily your databases.

 Assuming you install WAMPSERVER at C:\WAMP64,
a) WWW folder=C:\WAMP64\WWW
b). Apps folder=C:\WAMP64\APPS

The 64-bits version that I installed yesterday on Windows 8.1 (used to be Windows 10 but gave up after an unwelcome auto-update caused my Asus laptop to crash due to bad sectors) comprises :-
a). Apache 2.423
b). PHP 5.625/7.010
c). MySQL 5.714

Have also tried XAMPP and AMPSS but settled on WAMPSERVER :-)
